Storage Tanks
All Storage Tanks are equipped with expansion joints on both the sidewall and roof top. This allows the tank to expand and contract with minimal affect on the insulation installment.
Larger diameter tanks above 60 feet are equipped with additional expiation joints.
Insulation materials are specified for each tank requirements of its operating temperatures.
The tanks may be equipped with a removable lower sidewall section. This allows the owner to remove a section without affecting the rest of the system. As an example a four foot removable would allow the owner to install additional nozzles in the sidewall without affecting the rest of the insulation system.
Tanks above 15 foot diameter are installed in 24 foot sections. This allows the owner to remove a section for any unforeseen reason without affecting the rest of the insulation system. Significantly cutting the cost of such things as a structural repair.
